Feminist journalist Dr. Peggy Antrobus worked in the Jamaican government and now lives and works in Barbados. American CEO Sharon Sewell-Fairman is an immigrant from Jamaica. They spoke to The Babblery separately, but their stories intertwine to form a story of immigration from two sides. What are the post-colonial conditions that created the will to emigrate? What are the experiences that draw immigrants to America and keep them here? What tools do they need to thrive?
