Each month since early in the Covid pandemic, I have interviewed a mom who both has kids at home and works in the community. These moms are doing double-duty (sometimes triple-duty!): they’re moms, spouses, activists, business owners, educators, health professionals.
This month’s mom, Jen Ra’anan, is a passionate advocate, a self-described social justice warrior, for her family, her students, and the teachers she works with. In this podcast, she talks about the complexity of running a small school during Covid, while also trying to maintain a healthy relationship with her ten-year-old daughter.
